Real People. Real Passion. Real Impact.

Meet the dedicated team behind Crosswave Youth Network, engineers, auditors, youth workers, and creative thinkers, each bringing a unique spark to our shared mission. Together, we blend structure with imagination, strategy with empathy, and spreadsheets with social impact.

Semir Mujezinovic

PRESIDENT

Semir is the strategic brain behind Crosswave, a mechanical engineer who swapped blueprints for bold ideas. His journey into youth work began through the Erasmus Mundus programme, where he experienced the magic of cross-cultural learning. Inspired by that spark, he founded Crosswave Youth Network to give other young people the same kind of life-changing opportunities. Semir brings a structured, solutions-first mindset, strong leadership skills, and a real commitment to empowering youth through education, mobility, and sustainability. Based in Graz, he now oversees our strategy, partnerships, and long-term vision, with a cup of Bosnian coffee always within reach.

Naida Sertovic

Vice President

By day, Naida keeps things running smoothly in the tax audit department of a top Austrian bank. By passion, she’s a youth advocate who’s been active in civil society since her early days in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Naida makes sure Crosswave stays transparent, sustainable, and financially sound, handling everything from budgeting and risk management to compliance. Calm, sharp, and deeply committed to economic education, she believes that financial literacy is key to building a fairer future. She’s currently based in Vienna, where she’s also forging strong institutional links for Crosswave across sectors.

Adisa Fazlovic

Project Coordinator & Contact Person

Adisa wears many hats, and wears them well. With 5+ years in the NGO world and a current role in digital marketing at an IT company, she’s the glue between our projects, partners, and young participants. Adisa is all about turning ideas into action, especially in areas like digital skills, sustainability, and intercultural exchange. She’s known for her creativity, organisation, and people-first approach, and she’s the one making sure our events run smoothly and our message gets heard. As Crosswave’s go-to contact and project wizard, she manages visibility, communication, and community building, always with a smile and sharp eye for detail.
