Where Borders Disappear and Learning Begins

At Crosswave Youth Network, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens when young people step outside their comfort zone, and their country. That’s why we actively participate in and organize Erasmus+ Youth Mobility Projects, with a strong focus on Youth Exchanges.

Erasmus+: Opportunities for Youth Across Europe

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s primary programme dedicated to advancing education, training, youth engagement, and sport. Through this initiative, young people gain access to international mobility experiences, develop essential life skills, and become active participants in shaping a more united and inclusive Europe.

At Crosswave Youth Network, we use Erasmus+ as a platform to spark meaningful learning beyond school walls, encouraging curiosity, connection, and collaboration among youth from different backgrounds and cultures.

What Are Youth Exchanges?

Youth Exchanges bring together young people (ages 13 to 30) from two or more countries to live, learn, and collaborate on topics they care about, whether it’s climate action, mental health, digital futures, or cultural identity. These short-term exchanges (lasting 5 to 21 days) create safe, inclusive spaces for dialogue, discovery, and fun.

But it’s not just about the destination, it’s about growing together. Participants co-create the experience, taking part in the planning, preparation, implementation, and follow-up of each exchange. This hands-on involvement builds real-world skills like teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
